  1. Right click My Computer and select Properties (or) sysdm.cpl (or) Press Window + Pause Break key
  2. Click the Advanced tab
  3. In the Performance region select Settings
  4. Click the Data Execute tab in the dialog box that opens
  5. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select
  6. Click Add.
  7. The open dialog box will open. Browse and select your application.
  8. Click Open
  9. Click Apply
  10. Click Ok
  11. Reboot
